birgerdammen

Finnlight 338WM
No trur æ du må ta dæ en dram eller to.

Optikk laget i USA er i all hovedsak motsatt
VeT|Us
cipheron
Hentet fra et utenlandsk forum Congratulations! imo the Hensoldt Diatal (ribbed aluminum tube) and Diasta (steel tube) scopes of the 1960s are the optically best 4x scopes ever made, and having the rarer D variant with both elevation and windage turrets is just frosting on the cake. Granted, adjustment is a little tricky, see photo:After removing the cap, you see the knurled top plate with 4 screws. The silver one is a set screw to lock the adjustment, loosen this first. probably it is not possible yet to turn the adjustment by hand right now. The factory packed the adjustment with some grease that has more often then not turned into sort of glue during the last 45 years. Remove the other 3 screws too, the top plate and the seperate index ring and clean out some of the sticky grease. Add a little drop of oil on the adjustment screw in the center of the brass bottom plate, reassemble. Leave all 4 screws loose so that the silvery indexing ring is still free to turn around the adjusting plates, not yet clamped between them. sight in the rifle. Turn knobs clockwise for up/right adjustment, small amounts please. After sighting in, lock adjustment with the silver screw. now turn the indexinig ring to the position with the tiny stud pointing to the index line, it was meant to be scratched wit further index marks by the owner. Clamp it by tightening the 3 black screws, but don't overtighten them , they are not under stress when shooting. I hope this description is of some help. birgerdammen
Bra oppsummert Vetle.
birgerdammen
CIpheron for president!!
