Pearce
Cruiser
Jeg har snakket me Arcteryx om det samme problemet, og fikk dette til svar: Thanks for your patience, the brand expert would like you to try the below treatment as an initial first step. Properly washing your Arc'teryx Gore-Tex removes dirt and other contaminates, restoring its water repellency and breathability. All Gore-tex jackets need to be cleaned and re-proofed on a regular basis to ensure the jacket is performing at its best. It is best to make sure that the jacket is clean before using a reproofer to ensure that it sticks to the outerface fabric more efficiently. In a regular washing machine, use warm water on a gentle cycle to clean your garment. We suggest the use of cleaners designed specifically for Gore-Tex and Softshells, such as Granger’s Performance Wash (aka 30° C Cleaner). There are many soaps that have UV brighteners, perfumes or whiteners and can reduce the effectiveness of the durable water repellent (DWR) treatment on your garment. It is also best to avoid any cleaners that have fabric softeners in them (such as Woolite®). If the garment is no longer shedding water as it used to, even after it has been washed and dried, it is time to reapply the DWR. We recommend using Grangers® XT Proofer spray because the technologies complement the garment's original DWR treatment. After washing close all zippers, hang the wet garment on a hanger and spray Grangers® XT Proofer evenly onto the wet face fabric of the garment. Next, place the garment in a tumble drier on a medium heat setting (40°C) for about 50 minutes. We do not recommend using a wash-in DWR as it does not always apply evenly.
