Plated bullets occupy a position between cast bullets and jacketed bullets. They are soft lead, but have a hard outer shell on them. When loading plated bullets we have found best results using low- to mid-range jacketed data in the load manual. You must use data for a bullet that has the same weight and profile as the one you are loading. Do not exceed mid-range loads. Do not use magnum loads.

Har sjekket ladedata på Lapua: http://www.lapua.com/en/products/reloading/vihtavuori-reloading-data/relodata/6/28

Vil følgende oppsett fungere fint for en nybegynner?

- Federal SP tennhetter

- Vihtavuori N350 - 5,5gr ladning

- Berrys 158gr copperplated roundnose

Be careful comparing other CPRN bullet recipes. The Berrys 158 gr CPRN is much longer than most (0.690" vs ~ 0.600") , so CTG OALs/resulting internal V & P/velocities will be significantly effected.

Høres det greit ut?

Takker for alle innspill/kommentarer

Brukte dataene for 158 speer, ser i Lapua tabellen over at de er temmelig like.
