Tørke/salte kjøtt..

Har saltet ett hjerte fra hjort for ca en uke siden. Det lå i salt i 3-4 timer (liker ikke veldig saltsmak) og det har hengt siden. Men tok en prøve bit i dag, og det er fortsatt ikke kommet veldig langt i tørkinga.. er det ikke ca 7-9 dager som er normalt ?
