  1. You can try Vapen Soilen. They had an ATI tactical stock at least, which I was planning to buy after I got approval. Not sure if they have other stocks. They are fixing their website right now, so perhaps call and ask. http://www.vapen-soilen.no. I wasn't aware about the legal length of the rifle and the folding stock so good to know!
  2. Hi, Great, thanks for the suggestion. It looks like it would be a pleasant round to shoot. I'll go have a look what options are available in 6.5 x 55 - maybe Tikka T3 Super Varmint. I have done plenty of shooting before, but was still thinking of a 22lr rifle (Ruger 10/22 or Savage Mk2) for cheap fun and to practice trigger pulls and such due to low recoil. However, it can wait for the moment. I have a 44 magnum lever action for fun shooting and small game which I brought to Norway on an EU firearms pass.
  3. Hi, I've recently completed my hunting course here in Norway and soon sending off the application to the police for my rifle. I wanted to ask if anyone can recommend the cheapest caliber round that I can use for hunting large game, but also sports target shooting. I'd prefer .223, but that doesn't really work with the 2700 jules/100m requirement. Would 30-06 be the cheapest option? Obviously later on I can get more than one rifle, but looking for a good all purpose rifle to start. Thanks!
  4. Thanks for the responses. I'll have a look into reloading for sure. As for XXL I haven't been able to find any 44 magnum ammunition there. The cheapest I've found online is Magtech, but it's the fmj ammo.
  5. Hi, I just wanted to ask if anyone can point me in the correct place for cheap 44 magnum ammunition in Norway? I have a Rossi Puma lever action. At the moment I have been using jaktdepotet.no which works out to 299kr per 50 bullets. It needs to be hollow point or soft nose due to the tubular magazine. Are there any good places to purchase the equipment necessary to make the ammunition ourselves? Thanks, Antony
