Guys thank you very much for the info on the rifle, as you can imagine we do not see many of these over here so parts are non existent. I will measure the handguard later tonight. Have had one offer for a stock so far, hopefully it works out.

Hello from Canada! I have just acquired an old Norwegian Mauser I believe it is a M59? I need help finding a handguard for it for sure if not a whole new proper stock. It came with a beat up 98k stock. Is this correct? Figured I would ask here where a stock set can be had for one of these rifles. I have had no luck finding any Kongsberg stocks here in North America. Thanks for any help you can provide. Here are some pics: Serial # 3523 Bolt, receiver barrel, trigger guard, floorplate all matching numbers. Barrel has Kongsberg stamp. Receiver bnz 42. Has spacer block in magazine .308 Win chamber. 27" barrel. Cheers.
