Thermal Rifle Scope

Hi everyone,

Thanks for your responses last time regarding the suppressors. I have contacted some stores in Norway and they've given me some advices as well.

On that note, does any of you know the regulation of thermal rifle scope in Norway and to bring it outside of Norway? I'm interested in getting one if it's not a restricted item. My home country doesn't restrict it.

Thanks once again! Have a good weekend.

There is an end user restriction on thermal riflescopes, and you may not bring them outside the country without an export licence, requiring an end user sertificate. The latter you will probably have to obtain in your home country.

If you are from GB or something, i wouldt care much, but if yur home country is associated with any kind of conflict, be cautious.

Hi dd95.... Isn’t it about time You reveal which country this is?

Og til dere som svarer både i denne og TS sin andre tråd. Det er vel ikke for mye forlangt, å kreve ett svar på dette, FØR man gir noen råd?

Hi! Sorry for the confusion, I'm from New Zealand.

Thermal scopes are not regulated here, but they're really expensive. I was thinking of getting one when I'm traveling in Norway if it's not regulated and cheaper than the ones I can find back in Auckland.

Thanks once again!
