CORE Advanced Precision Rifle Class Norway August 2017 Etter litt forhandlinger så har eg klart å få Scott Satterlee fra CORE Shooting Solutions til å komme til Norge for å holde kurs i PRS/Langholdsskyting, CORE Advanced Precision Rifle. Dato for kurset er i utgangspunktet 26.-27. August 2017. Ved nok interesse kan vi kjøre et kurs helga før, men det er avhengig av at vi har minst 10 deltakere på det første kurset. Vanlig pris på dette kurset er $575, eg har fått forhandla det ned til Kr. 4000,- pr deltaker. Dette skal dekke alt av utgifter til fly, leiebil, overnatting etc, i tillegg til at Scott skal ha noe for jobben. Eg syns og det er dyrt, men det er en god pris i forhold til det kurset koster i USA! Hvis noen trekker seg eller ikkje kan, så må de selge plassen sin eller anse pengene som tapt. De som har betalt inn for kurset har ingen mulighet til å få igjen pengene så sant det blir kurs. Eg har ikkje mulighet til å sitte med den økonomiske risikoen for dette prosjektet. Ved manglende interesse og for få påmeldte den 01.06.2017, vil det ikkje bli kurs, så då får selvfølgelig alle som har betalt inn penger til meg pengene tilbake. For spørsmål eller meir informasjon, ta kontakt på johanroyseland@live.com Her følger en presentasjon av kurset fra CORE: COURSE: CORE ADVANCED PRECISION RIFLE TRAINING LOCATION: Norway PURPOSE: Provide students the opportunity to improve long range shooting skills; the advanced course starts from rifle set up, continues through engaging targets at distance from compromised positions, moving targets and timed stress events. SCOPE: The CORE Advanced Precision Rifle Course covers rifle set up and torque specs, mechanics of the scope, fundamentals of marksmanship, rifle and scope manipulation, zeroing and confirmation of zero, gathering data, custom ballistic curves, creating dope cards for other locations, shooter spotter communication, wind reading, building positions using forward support (barricades), moving targets, loop hole, no line of sight shots, Stage Prep, mind set and timed stress events PREREQUISITES: All students attending should have a durable rifle that is capable of 1MOA accuracy at 100 yards, scope with target turrets, bi-pod, rear bag, sling, 300 rounds of ammunition, binoculars or monocular, kestrel, ballistic app and all necessary comfort items. SPECIAL INFORMATION: CORE will provide all necessary equipment needed for training with the exception of items annotated on the packing list (see Annex F) of the CAPR POI. Any equipment the individual cannot provide must be communicated to the CORE prior to the beginning of training. The CORE will fill the shortages on a case-by-case basis. FORWARD: The CAPR course is designed for students that are familiar with long range rifle marksmanship. The course curriculum will be fast paced. Equipment set up and basic rifleman tasks will be tested for proficiency only in order to get into the advanced portion of the POI quickly. . COURSE LENGTH: 2-3 days COURSE HOURS: 16-24 Hours CLASS SIZE: The minimum amount of students for this course is 10, with a maximum of 15. The tasks are the same for each clinic. More time will be spent on the basic and intermediate tasks in the 3 day course.
