Marc12
Hello, I know that Norway has a long tradition for shooting with silencers, and also you guys have worldwide renowned manufacturers. Actually, I am looking for a pistol silencer. Can anyone recommend me a dealer/manufacturer, or a Norwegian website for this caliber/thread: 9X19, 1/2" x28? Thanks. -Andreas-
Hello, i have this one: http://www.pvas.no/lyddempere/pistol/a-tec-pmm-6-9mm Looks like they are sold out now, but you can give them a call. They are slow to reply on e-mail. Its good quality silencer, its also made in many pieces so you can make it longer or shorter as you wish.(screw on/of pieces) Here is a search on their homepage(A-Tec) after dealers: http://www.a-tec.no/naermeste-forhandler
oysteinlarsen
Yeah, get the A-Tec suppressor. They have distributors in several countries. Don't be too optimistic about effect unless you obtain or load subsonic rounds.
Marc12
Thank you for your reply Andreas. I was just wondering: what about other manufacturers, like B&T or Walther, are they as good as A-Tec? Is it possible to find a good silencer for a better price?
Cardinal
personally, if i was looking for a suppressor for a handgun, I'd get the B&T. Same price or cheaper with a proven track record. And, i belive, longer life.
Thor
Do have in mind that suppressors are strictly regulated for import, sale and possession by a number of countries. Hence, you are definitively better off finding a local distributor or detailer who knows all the nooks and crannies of providing the silencer you want instead of contacting a foreign manufacturer. Marc12
I am aware of that. I live in Poland, and here suppressors are not classified as "important weapon parts", which means they are completely legal in all calibers, requiring no registration nor permit. However, no one seems to sell them to civilians, and this is the matter.
